I shared a couple of my favorite finds from H&M Home a couple weeks ago, and I decided to order a few items for my apartment. The little gold pineapple is the perfect addition to my side table and the copper basket is great storage in the closet for my winter accessories. The stylish new purchases have arrived and here are a few photos! Pineapple here. Basket here.
I recently purchased a few accessories from H&M Home and discovered a ton of amazing new items in their shop and thought I’d share a few favorites below! Best of all, everything is really affordably priced.

After returning from the holidays, travel, packing up Christmas decorations and unpacking Christmas presents and a few new purchases, my apartment looked like a bit of a tornado zone. I used the post-Christmas cleanup as an opportunity to give the whole apartment a little refresh and a slightly new look.
I was getting tired of a couple ones I’ve had on the couch for years and swapped out a few old ones for new patterns and color! Here’s the new look on the couch! Incorporating new and old. I am slightly obsessed. It’s amazing how a few small changes can transform a space.
I also incorporated some of my new vintage finds around the apartment as well, starting with these amazing little boxwoods:
And I added one of my Christmas presents, the Elements of Style book to my coffee table stack:
Bar and entryway update with a few vintage finds and my latest DIY project:
The bar got a small refresh with the addition of my DIY Press for Champagne art and vintage brass candlesticks.
My mom made me a cute table runner from Ikea fabric and I added another Christmas present, these adorable West Elm salt and pepper shakers, to the table:
I love my little apartment refresh and it’s an affordable way to give a new look to your space!
I recently went to a couple vintage/antique stores in Virginia and found a few great treasures! Of course, my gold/brass addiction couldn’t be ignored, but I also found two mini boxwoods, a Parisian inspired sign, a decorative dish and a copper tea light holder. All at affordable prices!
And most importantly…. an entryway table! I fell in love with this little guy the moment I saw it. Of course, the powder blue is not going to be around long, but the style, size and charm is just what I was looking for. I’m currently using the Ikea Raskog cart as a temporary entryway table/cart, but as soon as I repaint this table, it will be permanently in the entry. I’m 99% sure I’m going to go with a high-gloss black for the table. Thoughts? Stay tuned for a DIY!
Small space styling: essential for a studio apartment like mine. I have several distinct areas in my tiny apartment, all with a separate purpose and function. I like to style each space individually while incorporating a cohesive look around the entire apartment. I have a small ikea desk in one corner of my apartment and with a few simple items, it can be styled and personalized without compromising a ton of space. A few essentials I like to include along with the typical desk staples (laptop, notepad, pencil cup, etc.):
- Art: Won’t take up any space footprint on the desk but will add visual interest to the desk/office area.
- Lamp: a small table lamp is a great touch to add for function, pattern and style.
- Letter organizer: Another small space solution to keep your desk organized and efficient.
- Vase of flowers: A fun seasonal element to change out and keep your work space smelling and looking wonderful.
- Small accessory: Another way to personalize your small space. I’ve added a little bronze paperweight of my college mascot.

During the closet reorganization process, I reworked a few things in the bathroom as well.
My Ikea Raskog cart got a mini makeover.
And I switched out an my old trash can and (broken) toilet bowl cleaner for some cute metallic looking upgrades.
Just a few little tweaks can make a huge difference!
