London Studio Apartment Tour

Next up in the Studio Apartment Tour series… this gorgeous little studio in London! This space has clean lines, classic style, and most importantly, makes amazing use of space! By having the bed lofted above the living room, it almost doesn’t feel like a studio apartment. Keeping the color pallet light and airy makes the space feel bigger and capitalizes on the natural lighting coming in through the windows.

Let’s start off with the living room area. Side tables and trunks for storage are great to place a drink or snack near the couch without having to dominate the space with a bulky coffee table.

The kitchen is quite large for a studio apartment, which is a huge bonus, I’m sure. By keeping the counters clutter-free, it makes them seem larger and quite elegant. I love the contrasting dark counter tops paired with clean white cabinets. IMG_3242photo 4

The dining area makes great use of space with a warm wooden table. The large mirror adds height and visually tricks the eye into making the space appear larger. IMG_3238IMG_3239

I’m a sucker for anything gold or brass and I’m loving these simple geometric pendants:IMG_3112

Now let’s head up the stairs to the lofted bedroom area! IMG_3240   IMG_3243 IMG_3246

The white curtains and glass panels allow for the space to flow well with the rest of the apartment while still providing privacy. IMG_3245Keeping furniture to a minimum and having a white color pallet in this area makes the low ceiling manageable and keeps the space  from getting too dark.

I love this layout and the design paired with neutral colors really makes this apartment feel like a little luxury hotel! Thanks again to Holly for letting me feature your space. Check out more photos and design inspiration on her twitter account here.
